Do long distance relationships work?Relationship advice.?
For some people... but they are really hard. It's difficult only talking on webcam or the phone with the person you are dating. Some people can do it, but it does add a lot of stress to the relationship. You also have to really trust the person you are dating... because you have no way of telling if they are being true or honest. It helps if you already knew the person and were dating but they moved away... and harder if you are going to start off dating in different country's. There is a lot of stuff that goes with a long distance relationship..... it takes more commitment. You also have to be okay with being alone... because they won't be around to do stuff with you. Everyone is different... and it works for some, but i wouldn't recommend it.

It all depends on if you put the effort out to make it work. If you do that you should be fine, but there's two people in the relationship and you don't know what the other is doing, but that's when you have to trust them and know they wouldn't do anything to hurt you or the relationship if they really wanted to make it work.
it depends on how committed you and the other person are. my friend is in a long distant relationship and they are 100% committed to each other and are doing really fine, in fact they don't even fight.
In my experience no.... but I was young.





I still wouldnt think they would work especially if it is a mature relationship (eg 20++ yrs old).
