I have been with my boy friend for 4 years. THis weekend he is supposed to go ring shopping. Now he has decided that he cant b/c he wants to go to Gasparilla (like mardi gras, but in tampa). THis was the only weekend he had to get a ring, b/c he was going to propose on our anniversary (2 weeks from now). Was this an honest oversight, or should I be concerned he values getting drunk and looking at other girls boobs more than marrying me?Relationship advice?

Gasparilla happens every year on the last weekend in January. How could he have been surprised? What a lame excuse. You may want to reconsider the sincerity of his intentions and the possibility of moving on.
Well honey. Talk to him. Ask him see where he sees the relationship going. 4 years is plenty of time to decide whether or not he wants to marry you. Ask yourself if it is worth it to keep seeing him. If it is, just talk it out.
